Dr. Allison Bittner, Owner/DVM

Dr. Bittner received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Berry College in Northern Georgia. She has experience treating animals ranging from hamsters to elephants, but she loves seeing and helping all members of the animal kingdom. Dr. Allison has a passion for learning and she continues to expand her knowledge every day. When she is not treating animals, Dr. Bittner can be found playing tennis with her husband, reading, knitting, or playing with her two kitties.

Dr. Robert D. Gano, DVM

Dr. Gano graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 1978. He has practiced in Clinton County for over 40 years, working with farm animals as well as pets. Dr. Gano has had experience with everything from llamas and alpacas to sheep, hogs, cattle, dairy herds, goats, deer, lions, camels, donkeys, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and hedgehogs. Dr. Bob enjoys the variety of all creatures great and small. Dr. Gano is married and has 3 daughters, and 5 grandchildren.

Dr. Paul A. Stull, DVM

Dr. Paul Stull graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1966. He joined the Orchard Veterinary Care team in 2010. Over the course of his career he has owned and founded over five veterinary practices. He was a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical licensing board, as well as the Assistant Chief of Animal Health for the Ohio Department of Agriculture. In addition, Dr. Stull was the Assistant State Veterinarian for two years. In the past, he has been the President of the Miami Valley Council of Boy Scouts and is currently an Assistant Scout Master. He is also a licensed pilot, and a certified whitewater paddler. Dr. Stull has been a practicing veterinarian for over 50 years and is currently a professor in the Biology Department at the University of Dayton. He also volunteers for wildlife rehabilitation centers. Dr. Stull resides in Centerville, OH with his wife Jan. They have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Rebecca Boggs, RVT

Becca joined Orchard Veterinary Care in May of 2016. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in Columbus, OH and completed her licensure to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in November of 2016. Becca loves seeing a variety of species, but pocket pets and reptiles are her favorite! She currently lives in Hillsboro, OH with her husband, Adam, their daughter, Tara, and their many fur babies.

 


Katie Stewart, Veterinary Assistant

Katie has been working with animals for over 15 years! She joined our team in January 2017 as a Veterinary Assistant. She currently resides in Clarksville, OH with her husband, their adorable son, and their many animals. In her spare time, Katie enjoys horseback riding, four-wheeling and hiking with her family.


Kate Justice, Veterinary Assistant

Kate started with the team in the fall of 2018. She is currently enrolled at Sinclair Community College where she is pursuing her degree in Veterinary Technology. She lives in Sabina, OH with her parents, little brother, Kole and her fur babies Koda and Turbo. She likes working with animals of all types but she loves seeing large animal patients.

 


Paige Burton, Veterinary Assistant

Paige joined Orchard Veterinary care in 2018. She was raised in Clinton County and is a graduate of Clinton-Massie High School. She is currently studying animal science at The Ohio State University in hopes to pursue a career with any species of animal.

 


Bre Flint, Veterinary Assistant

Breanna Flint is a Veterinary Assistant who joined our team in the summer of 2020. She is currently attending Sinclair Community College and is pursuing her degree to become a Veterinary Technician. She enjoys working with all types of animals! At home, Bre is the proud owner of her red heeler, Bristol, and her calico cat, Willow.


Melissa McCandless, Veterinary Assistant

Melissa has many years experience working with animals. She joined Orchard Veterinary Care in 2020. Melissa obtained her certification in dog training and behavior from Catch Canine Trainers Academy, and she is an active member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. She is pictured with Cardi, her Australian Shepherd whom she fondly refers to as her “soul puppy”. Melissa and Cardi like to earn trick dog titles and play at agility in their spare time.


Sherry Bathori, Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Sherry joined the Orchard Vet team in July of 2020. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Food Science. She currently resides in Wilmington, OH with her husband, Nick, and their two Great Danes, Kobe and Ollie.


Pam Brokaw, Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Pam joined Orchard in August of 2020. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in Columbus, OH where she earned an Associate’s in Applied Science. She also has an Associated Degree in Business Management and Accounting. She has been working with shelters, rescues and doing rescue transport, and fostering for 35 years! She enjoys working with all animals. Pam currently resides in Hillsboro, OH with her husband Jim, and their 8 dogs, 4 cats, 2 turtles, and whatever fosters they are currently helping!


 

Shelly Gilbert, Receptionist

Shelly joined the team as a receptionist in the fall of 2015. She currently resides in Wilmington, OH with her husband, Rob, daughter, Madison and their dog, Max. Shelly has always been active in the 4H and farm community and enjoys seeing the wide variety of species treated at the clinic!

 


 

Madison Gilbert, Kennel Technician

Madison graduated from Wilmington High School in 2020 and is now attending Wilmington College where she is studying Biology Life Sciences/Pre-Vet, with a minor in Agriculture. She has shown lambs, goats, pigs, horses and ducks throughout her 4H and FFA career. She currently lives in Wilmington with her parents, Rob and Shelly, and their Aussie mix, Max!
